Today I had surgery. I have 6 small incisions with a on-q ball. I am taking loratab every 4 hours and still in a lot of pain. Im so excited to finally have the procedure done and ready to begin my new journey.

Congrats. I too will be banded at 7:30 am Friday July 20. We WILL do great!!! Did you have alot of family or friends at the hospital with you? I am feeling pretty special rite now thinking about my family coming with me.

I was banded on Monday, July 16. So today is my fifth day of recovery. Its been a ittle harder than I expected. I may have let the excitement of the surgery overshadow the reality of the pain of recovery. But today is better. I had actually gained weight from the day I went in but I think that was because of the build up of fluids because today I am down five lbs from the day of surgery.

I can tell today will be better. At any rate- please let me know how you are progressing. I feel pretty good today and looking forward to making this journey!
