Where were u banded? My doctors name is Dr. T as well and i just hope he doesn't do that to me.

That's really interesting and unfortunate. But be glad your doctor was able to see you and relieve the problem, several places would have told you to go to the ER. Now that you're doing better, keep up posted on your progress!

I was banded in Charlottesville, Va. I dont think this was the Dr's doing's because I did have the barium swallow the day after and before we went home. I could swallow the barium so I think there was additional swelling, because I did feel the restriction getting worse everyday til even a sip of water hurt going down. My husband was also banded the same day and he was drinking as much as allowed without any problems.

I only have 5 cc's in my band and every time my doctor gives me a fill I have to go back and get it taken out. I just got another 1/2 cc yesterday which took me to the 5cc's and was fine yesterday but now today I can't even get water down. My doctor is also very great. Last time he met me on a Saturday and Sunday to remove the fill since I was so sick.

Same thing happened to me! They didn't realize it until the 2nd fill when i was overfilled. Miserable!

Its a bad feeling to not be able to get anything down. I will go slow on my fills. I must have alot of swelling no being only 7 days out from surgery. I did get down some mushy chicken salad and mashed potatoes and my stomach loved me for it.

After you get your fills do you really get restricted for a few days and then it gets better?
