Change is Enevitable, except from Vending Machines

That is the magic of the lap band process.and this site. It brings about change when we allow it to work for us. It has been one whole week of renewed determination to allow the band and site to work with me. And the Changes that have occured are remarkable. No, I don't have a weight loss number to give you. Tho I know that will come. What has changed are things more of the heart, head and spirit. Reading and responding to many members on this site has been life changing. You have deepend my resolve. Many of you have already experienced the physical change and that is exciting and encouraging to me. Can't wait for some of that change to be noticeable on me. So thank you all , and Stick with it. $CHANGE IS A COMIN $

I totally agree with you Dolly! The support from this site is amazing and the reminders of what we need to do for the lapband tool to work for us is incredibly valuable. We all need to take responsibility for our choices and be reminded of what we need to do to lose the weight -- food choices, chewing everything to death, not drinking liquids at the same time as meals, exercise, etc. etc. as well as reminders to long-timers to keep having their band checked and filled -- all of these things keep us on track to our goal. Hang in there and keep on keeping on! Deb

I don't know how you do it, but you always make me laugh with your clever titles and humor! I have had a really good week after a hard day last week. The difference I guess was getting back on the wagon again right away instead of waiting for tomorrow. Tomorrow never gets here!!! I know i feel exactly like you. This site has given me so much support that I don't even feel in the monthly meetings that I was attending. Good luck the weight loss will happen!
