Ok, so i was banded on the 6th, and I have no energy whatsoever. I am not taking pain meds, and all i want to do is sleep....has anyone ever experienced this? Am I normal? still not hungry though!

Hello there. Yes I did experience that. My doctor said that it was because I was not eating often enough and my blood sugar was crashing.

Eat smaller meals more often, this should increase your energy levels. Are you taking your vitamins?

I absolutely felt the same way. It took a couple of days to get all the pain meds and sedation from the surgery out of my system. You'll get stronger with each day! Good luck on your journey!!!

Yes Nancy, this is normal. I went through the same thing. It will take some time to get your energy back. It took me a few weeks to get all my energy back and get an appetite. Just hang in there. It does get better.

I went through that, but you must take your multivitamins. Your energy levels will increase. Mine has so much that I am up at 2 and 3 every day. It's got to be my band, feel great, love my band.
