Upset Stomach is not good with the Band!

:eek:Up since 3 Am with an upset stomach! Not feeling good at all, can't sleep! I have been having a lot of digestive problems these past few days, and now this!

Going to call in tomorrow to see what I can take for it?

Any suggestions? Most meds don't swallow well anyway. But need to get back to normal soon, my daughters wedding is just 12 days away!!!

Stress? Is there a way you can get some peace time, even for an hour? I like chewable stuff -- tums or pepto. Good luck and feel better SOON.

NO PeptoBismol! It contains Aspirin and shouldn't be taken by a lapband patient. My surgeon said never, never take Pepto, it can cause erosion. Call your doctor and tell them about your stomach problem, take only what they tell you to.

Thanks for all your comments, I really just let the stomach work it off, never did have to take anything and this morning for a little while it was bad, but around noon it left me, I thank God for the relief. I actually was able to eat well today (maybe too well, LOL) after the first part of the day. I had never known that about Pepto, I had some liquid in the fridge, and thought about it, but since I didn't trust the age of it, I decided to throw it out! Good thing huh ladies? We all are living and learning the curves with this thing called our BAND, that is the process of our lives now and makes us different when it comes to even small things like an upset stomach?? We will get there. And Sandra, I am going Monday to get my hair colored and cut and my nails done on Tuesday with a massage!!! That outta take off some stress, when the tent arrives I will relax, as I told my daughter as long as she is beautiful for her special day, walks down the isle and says "I DO" that is all that really matters.
