So who Didn't watch the Season Premier of "The Biggest Loser"????

:frown:I was so sad for the ones who did not get picked to go to the RANCH! A lot of folks looked like they could use the help.

I tried not to feel sorry for anyone there, but I could not help it, I wanted to bleed for them. I am so grateful every time I watch that show for what I have now. I would not want life any other way. I admit I need to be exercising more now, that is a downfall of mine, but I know that the LapBand was a lifesaver for me. When I saw the girl talk about her brother who tried out for The Biggest Loser and he died five days later, that just woke me up.

We can not wait! I am so glad that I have shed nearly 100 lbs! I thank God every day that I made this decision. The facts that were quoted tonight about Metro Atlanta, out of all the deaths 1/3rd of them are related to heart attacks associated with obesity.

Boston was the next worst town! I guess they don't have the room for much gardening. When I visited Boston last year, I was so tired from walking and I just thought that folks from there would stay slim getting in all that walking everywhere!?

Well this is really going to be an interesting season, and it is so motivational. Makes me want to get on track and stay there and exercise more, I am gonna love Tuesday nights for awhile.

I have never missed a season! I love this show! Last season I worked out during every commercial break. It was really motivational! I was so sad when I seen people that weigh less than me and couldn't finish the mile without falling out!

I fell asleep after LA. I didn't mean to; I was just exhausted. I DVRd it though and I'm going to watch it today (working from home). I love the fall -- TV to record and watch when I'm working out!!!

I love the show too! I know it is not the healthiest approach to weightloss and working out 8 hours a day is not realistic long term, but their transformations never cease to inspire me.

There were two definite Lap Banders on the show and I noticed another couple with what looked to me like Lap Band scars (but of course, could have been something else). It makes me sad that the Band couldn't help them the way it has helped many of us.

I don't know who my faves are yet, but there were a lot of people I liked. I did literally start crying when the guy fell down so close to the finish. I want him to do well in the side competition!!

I watched the show too but didn't care for the fact they made the contestants do a challenge that hard in order to make it to the ranch. I thought it was too soon for that which was evident by the people passing out.

I don't know about the lapband but one of the girls on the show said she'd had gastric bypass and it didn't work for her. So sad as she was very young.

Yes I too noticed that the contestant wanna be's were very young and so big. I too thought that the challenges were too streneous for the first trial to get to the ranch. And the humiliation for the ONLY one who did not make it was HUGE! I felt sorry for the girl who could not breathe and passed out, and the man, I thought he had broken his arm when he landed on it like that. Lord Ya'll I DON"T think I could live through that pace of exercise and on that small amount of food they get, I think it would kill me.
