Consultation seems so far away...

I called the doctor's office to set up a consultation. I was hoping for day within the week, but unfortunately the latest they had was September 16!!!!! aaaah...haha.

Seems far away but alas the date is set. I also called Aetna and confirmed that they covered the surgery and had them email me the requirements in order for it to be covered.

Still excited! I'm also going to the gym religiously because it allows me to release some energy :tt2:

LAP-BAND Patients

It will go by quickly, you'll see! I had to attend a seminar (to choose the right doctor group, I went to two of them), have a consultation, then my insurance company revealed their requirements to me. From there, I started on a 3 month diet. I remember it was 2 weeks from when I called my pcp to when I actually got in to start my diet. It felt like it would be a very long time, but then everything seemed to move very quickly. Best of luck to you and your journey!
