I am going to be born on September 20th

:scared2:

My lapband is scheduled for September 20th and I am ready for my life to begin. I am 42 and want to feel alive again. It is difficult living life the way I have been and I am ready for change. I am going to start shopping for all my liquids I will need for my pre-diet. It's hard for people that are thin to understand the situation I am in. They just think..diet and exercise and the weight will come right off. Been there, done that....it's not working for me. This is the best choice for ME to get healthy and start living. I don't care what people think, it's my life and I'm going for it!!! I'm glad I can just blog here and have lots of people who understand my situation.

Peace:biggrin:

LAP-BAND Patients

And take the journey with you. I found both opposition and support from those that love me. Some were with me with the 150 pounds lost 3 years ago and wonder why I don't just do it again. I tried to patiently remind them that I have gone up and down so many times on the merry-go-round that I just wanted off. This is my tool to be used with everything else i already know.

Welcome aboard! I find out more helpful here than I ever do the Doctor.

LAP-BAND Patients

This is a fantastic journey full of ups and downs but at least here you have plenty of friends to be there for you and have a true understanding of what you are doing and why. You can't always get that from friends and family outside the band world. This was my present to myself. I as banded 5-10-10 and turned 40 in July. Well worth everything.
