LAP-BAND Patients

Hello missrbp I have a few suggestion for you. When you go to the seminar and hear so much info on what you have to do beofre this surgery. It's going to feel like alot to do, but it's easyer then it sounds. My 2nd suggestion is do enjoy all the foods you love now, because after your surgery there are some foods that you will have to give up because they are just not Lap Band freindly. 3rd thing is post your feelings here on this site tell us what you are going through, this site has many wonderful people. keep in touch and Good luck to you. LOVE IT!

I am almost through my process of jumping through hoops to get approved. Debra is right. It does sound very overwhelming at first to get your ducks in a row, but just do one thing at a time and you will get it together quickly. I thought my diet plan would feel like FOREVER, but it really hasn't. Just stick with what your insurance company asks you to do. I have also heard to eat what you love now. For me, it has been dinner rolls ;-) Best of luck in your journey and keep us posted!
