"Slept In"

I usually get up at 3 am during the week to drive 50 miles to a gym close to work. Being Saturday I can work out at a home gym!

I got out of bed at 6:30am! I know to some of you that will be a laugh, but it felt so good to be able to roll over and snuggle in for awhile -- kind of like a special treat.

I set up some training appointments this week both here and at the work gym so that I can have some motivation if and when my buddy flakes again. As one of my fellow bandster friends said "I can do it myself". And I can!

The amount of support I get from reading posts and blogs and forums is fantastic. I sincerely appreciate all the help, information and just downright kindness.

Have a wonderful Saturday everyone.

LOL I slept in today too. I needed it.

I also love my band and I wake up with a smile every morning. My life has improved 3 fold. I have add 10 or more years to my health. I am taking care of my own needs today. Blogging is a great way to start the day. I feel the friendship and warmth from all my blogging friends. We all have this in common. Best wishes imaluckydog

We can all do it alone, but isn't it great we have fellow bandsters to do it with? I wish we were all in the same city so we could storm the gym together. Wouldn't that be a site? Keep up the good work and I'm glad you got to sleep in today.

I have a 3 yr old who didn't sleep for the first 18 months and until last month slept in my bed. He thinks I sleep with him in his big boy bed in his big boy bedroom..but I sneek out after he falls asleep. He still wakes up no later than 7..but of course since it was Saturday..6am straight up!! So I am still learning about what sleep is all about...
