I got my letter saying its a go!!

so today I went to my doctor and I got my letter saying that the lapband would be good for me..I have a doctors appointment on february 5th...im wonder how long it takes after that?

I was going to go to michigan for it but I did not wanna travel so I am now going to saranac lake ny,I live 1 hour away form the hospital I have excited but scared,Im hoping it does not take a year,someone said 3 to six months,I hope :thumbdown:..im looking forward to the new me!!

what happens from here,I got the letter and I go to the visit and then its just a waiting?

Congrats! Everyone's wait time varies depending on your insurance and such. I started my process on 12/4/09 and had my surgery on 12/24/09. I go back to the doctor for my first fill on 1/28 and I think I've lost about 35 lbs. Good luck!
