I am so fucking... Frustrated!!

I had surgery on 9/24 weighing 252 lbs.and went in for my first fill yesterday.. I currently weigh 225 lbs. and guess what.. my port is backwards..... now I have to do a revision.. and I do not know if I should go through this again... because I am unable to get any fills... because she has to tilt my port and attempt to have the needle penetrate on an angle.. and it hurt soo much.. The office has given me a tentative date for Jan 11.. has anyone experienced this.. my goodness It's only been two months and 6 days!!!:wink2:

Do a search on the home page under complications for 'port revision'...it does happen, but from what I've heard the recovery is so much easier than the whole banding. Best wishes. -BG

I am so sorry to hear that... If I was in the same situation, I would get it done. That's just me... Hopping everything goes well.... be blessed.

I feel really bad for you. That really just sucks and it it sooo disappointing. BUT...the revision will be a pretty easy procedure because there is no intrusion into your abdomen. It all takes place just in the superficial layers. Good luck..tell them to give you a fill while youre under anesthesia!! Let us know how it goes.

Wow, I would say that it is still worth it. I am sure that the port revision will not be as bad as the whole surgery.

Good luck!
