omg what have i done

okie dokie, so i keep reminding myself it is early and only day 2 after banding, i don't know what i was expecting...

i am struggling to keep myself hydrated and moving, i wan't expecting all the soreness everywhere but my incision sites, my muscles hurt so bad in my legs and neck. i don't know how i can eat all the fluids and get the protein i need. and then i am swollen and miserable. GOD I pray i have done the right thing here, I don't know any details and things werent really explained other than the general everything went fine, and i call tomorrow for my first three week appointment and don't even know what he will do, I am reminding myself one moment at a time and each moment counts.:mad2:

Hey there Please don't beat yourself up. Remember your body have just went through and change and physically and mentally. It will get better just have to hang in there. Everyone is different but in a 1 or 2 you should feel better. Important thing is to get the protein fluids in and Walk walk walk. because the gas is going to come. If you are hurting take your pain meds for the comfort for the 1st fews days then wean yourself off of them. Hope things get better with you. Message me if you have any other questions.

I know exactly how you feel I felt like that too after I had my surgery. I prayed for God to take one pain away and he would send me another pain.. I was like what have I done. But trust me after a week you feel back to normal. Hang in there the results are wonderful.

I feel the same as the three ladies before me have said! It was two weeks before I felt better. I wanted to die for sure. I knew I made the BEST decision I could ever make it has saved my LIFE. The pain will pass and you will feel better. Some of us have more pain than others. Others heal faster too. You have made this choice for a reason so hang on and take care of yourself. This is the time for you to heal, follow the rules and in a few days all will be WELL. Best wishes imaluckydog

I had Surgery 2 weeks ago on my birthday, the first week with liquids was okay, the pain in my neck had went away, but 5 days ago , I questioned myself had I did the right thing, I was missing food, but I was not hungry, just the method of chewing. I have a family so I hve to cook. I must say the woe is me feeling went away when I went to see the Surgeon, I had lost 8 lb. since my post-op. 10 lbs. pre-op. now that was something to thank God for!!
