Today was a great day!!!

I'm learning patience is a virtue..It seems the more days that go by my body is starting to adjust to the change that's being made. It was a killer cooking my family dinner watching them eat steak and me eating my chicken broth or drinking my protein shake..I was tempted a few times to give in then I would think you " your cravings are short term but you body is for a lifetime"....:mad2:

How long have you been on your diet. I started mine two days ago and I'm doing better than I thought I would. When are you having your surgery? Mine is the 19th of Nov. Our friends had a birthday BQ for me tonight, boy was that hard, all that good food and a cake besides. It was planned before I knew my surgery date. I did well, didn't touch a thing, took my liquid diet with me and stuck to it. It is hard but is well worth it in the long run. keep me posted on how your doing and yea for not eating the steak.
