First Fill on 8/20- 5 CC's and not much restriction

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to ask some of you experienced banders if it is normal to not feel much if any restriction after the first fill. I am contemplating calling the Doc on Monday if this is not normal. I can eat a good amount before feeling full. I am sticking to 1200 cals a day and have lost 20 lbs since surgery date on 7/13 but am worried that my old habits of overeating will rear it's ugly head. I do take this very seriously and have fended off hunger by drinking lots of water. Anyone felt this way after your first fill?

I am still new to this banding thing and have not had a fill yet, but from what I hear yes that is normal, sometimes it takes a couple of fills before you actually feel any restriction, I guess is just depends on the person. Have faith be patient, and hopefully on your next fill you will have the restriction you are looking for!

Good Luck!

Yeah, I have found some older posts that say that it does take a few fills for the Sweet Spot. So, I plan to start exercising more this week and watching the calories. Thanks for the encouragement. BTW, when were you banded?
