PAIN apple sauce and stomach pain, what?

i am 2 weeks and 1 day post -op. 6/18/09 last night a eat some apple sauce and i began to have serve pain in my stomach. i don't know what it was but boy it really hurt. today i don't feel to good, still have a little disconfrort. (and i was feeling go much better the last 2 days before the apple sauce) has this happened to anyone and is it with sertine foods and what can i do when it happens.

The applesauce has fiber in it and fiber = gas!! Gas can cause a lot of discomfort. You will learn as you go what foods you will be able to eat and which ones bother you. It's a try and see process!! Good luck.

FYI- drinking through a straw also causes gas.
