My doctor put me on an appetite suppressant, LMAO!!!

So it's been about 3 months since my surgery. I have barely lost any weight & I am due my second fill tomorrow. I have zero restriction even after my first fill. Whats funny is my doctor put me on an appetite suppressant:rolleyes:. I've been working out and eating better since then, but it leads me to wonder couldn't I have done this without the band & $10000 debt, lol.

 

I'm not complaining, I just pray that I feel something, anything after this next fill. I have kind of forgotten that I'm banded & just try to be healthier. My total weight loss in 3 months 10lbs.:crying: I'll let u know how it goes...

    ...because I don't think you can stay on an appetite suppressant forever. I've got a little bit of restriction after my 2nd fill (4.5 ttl/10cc band) and can't wait until my next fill. Good luck and I hope this one does something for you! -BG

    Girl, don't worry. It took 8 adjustments before I was able to feel any restriction. Patience is the key to overcoming this. You'll get there!!

    OK, I found out why I had no restriction. My band has an erosion. I'm so sad. I had 8cc in a 10cc band and nothing. So my doctor checked it out and it seems i have an infection. He removed all the fluid so now I have zero but I don't miss it because I never felt it anyway. Just so disappointed that after all I've been through I have to have my band removed before seeing any results.
