Day 14...My burning question is....How long before my "bottom stomach" stops rumbling? I can be full, but I still get that hungry rumbling. Otherwise, all is good. It's time to mow the yard. I think I'm physically OK to do it...I just don't want to! But I must or people will wonder what's up, and I still have kept this a secret from most people.
Day 10 post-op. Today was much better. Yogurt, applesauce, soup, and liquids. I'm getting used to the smaller amount of food...I don't mean my stomach, I mean my brain is getting used to it. I keep forgetting to report the best part...no more heart-burn (could be the band or the hernia repair...don't care) and my knees are feeling better...just by dropping 10 pounds! I had the energy to babysit tonight and to wash my kitchen floor. Yay!

I got some bean soup, which I make watery and chew well, and some Flintstone's Vitamins. They taste good...much better than the liquid stuff I bought and used once! The bean soup and vitamins made me feel better. I saw a comment about being uncomfortable at day 13. Wow...that sounds like maybe there's a problem? I still have a little discomfort where my port is, but it on
This is day 7. My surgery was last Monday, 4/23/2012. My lovely daughter-in-law took me to the hospital...an hour away, at least. The worst part has been having to cough during the first few days. I went back to work Wednesday, day 3. I was very sore and tired, but I got through it. I'm not telling friends and family, except my sons, daughters-in-law, and 3 people I work with. Not everyone is supportive! I was able to have lunch at Chili's yesterday, with one of these people, and she didn't no
