Surgery at 6 am on Thursday. Have been doing so well on preop diet but weight loss has just STOPPED. 11 lbs down. Better than nothing is the way I'm trying to look at it. Starting to get nervous though, for sure. Not even really sure what I'm nervous about. I have an incredibly high tolerance to pain so I don't think that's it. I suppose it's failure. I WILL be successful though. PERIOD!!!
I have gone through the seminar, the consult, the psych eval, the lab work and today begins the preop diet. I have been told to do a 2 week preop diet of all liquids. I can do this. I keep reminding myself that. I refuse to fail. I have failed at so many other things. This is one of those things that I will (WILL) succeed at!!! Looking forward to the outcome. It's going to be amazing.
