Surgery at 6 am on Thursday. Have been doing so well on preop diet but weight loss has just STOPPED. 11 lbs down. Better than nothing is the way I'm trying to look at it. Starting to get nervous though, for sure. Not even really sure what I'm nervous about. I have an incredibly high tolerance to pain so I don't think that's it. I suppose it's failure. I WILL be successful though. PERIOD!!! :rolleyes:

11 pounds??? that is so great. you should be so so happy with that number. it is normal to be nervous. probably the most thing is the unknown. we can try to prepare for this but we really can't until we are experiencing it for ourselves. Best of luck to you and i hope you have a quick recovery, GAS free. that seems to be the most common post surgery complaint that i hear. i am not banded either so i look forward to hearing how well you have done with it. keep up the good work on the next four days of the pre op diet.

Good Luck to you, you WILL do great!! I agree Roeroe, 11 is a great # and you should be proud of yourself!!! I was really nervous too, but I kept focused on the outcome and the reasons I was doing this and it helped me to relax!!
