My doctor has been on vacation for the month of February and I haven't been going to my support group meetings and I haven't lost a pound since!! I am hoping to change that in March when my doctor returns. I haven't lost anything for the month of February and am not sure what the cause of that is. Am I eating too much? I am probably not eating the right things and my hectic schedule doesn't allow for too much exercise. I need to do something, but I am not sure what yet.
Wow!! I didn't have a doctor's appointment today; although I tried to get one because I felt like I was overfilled. Everything that I eat produces a tightness in my chest. Dr. Bonomo said that four days after the fill I will feel like nothing happened. Here it has been seven and I am still feeling the tightness. Well, I went in and got weighed and found myself at 219 pounds!!!! They said that the doctor was too backed up to see me, but I didn't even care at that point because I am at 219!!
I was weighed yesterday and only gained 0.6 of a pound. That is not bad considering how much junk I ate over Christmas and New Years. I am not at 226.6. I had my first fill and he filled me to 6cc's. I have the big band which allows you to eat more. I am told you can go to 12cc's! He generally only fills it 5-6 for your first fill. I must need more than most because he had me filled to 6. I can tell that this is going to be a difficult process. I have problems saying no to food and can't
Well, now it has almost been a month since the surgery. I am able to eat regularly, probably too regularly! I overdid it on Christmas and REALLY overdid it on New Years to the point that I felt sick. I have not threw up or anything but I have found that I eat less than I used to and I don't really binge or eat late at night anymore. I have lost a total of twelve pounds since the beginning of my weight loss journey, however, I probably gained half of that back over the holiday. I go for my f
I am feeling much better. This forum has been great support for me. I feel that with the online support and once I start attending group sessions at Mercy, I will be fine. Things are strarting to look better. Right now, I am just experiencing gas pain and the nausea has subsided (thank god). I hate that Christmas is coming up and I will not be able to eat anything. I wonder if I will be able to eat soft foods by then, maybe some mashed potatoes?
Okay, surgery was Thursday, December 7th. It is now Monday, December 11th, and I feel like crap. I am nauseated, sore, weak, dehydrated and feel like i can't do anything. Does anyone know when this will pass?
