Silly Question about tickers and weight loss

I was wondering when people are displaying the amount of weight they lost if it includes there pre-op weightloss as well. I am having a hard time with what to expect from the band and in looking at some peoples numbers they seem very larger. I know we are all different, but I am curious.

I included the weight i lost before surgery it was 40lbs then after two weeks post-op i lost 19lbs. so some people do.

Yes - I too put my weight loss starting at the time I went to see my doctor for the first time. eight months later I had the lap band surgery. I had lost 20 pounds before surgery and now 20 pounds after surgery.

I lost weight and if I'm gonna advertise how much I weigh/lost. it's going to make me look good.

I would never have gone on such a strict diet as the liver shrinking one if I wasn't having the band done

It's a part of the process.

Did I mention that I lost weight?

Mine also includes the pre-op diet.

I actually considered my surgery consultation - "Day 1" of the rest of my life....:)

That is what I told my very supportive husband. He doesn't need lap band, but he does need to get into shape, so he is going to change his lifestyle with me. When I came home from my surgery consultation, I told him that was day 1 of our new life! And when I start a ticker, it will start from that day also.
