Chills a month after surgery?

I had a lapband a month ago and have had chills along with occasional diarrhea for the past two weeks. The doctor says it's probably a virus, but I was wondering if anyone else has had chills almost a month after surgery. I see some have had chills with a low grade fever the next day.

I don't see how there would be any connection to the Lap Band. I agree with your doctor, probably a virus...there are a lot of those going around right now.

Thanks Jody, I was just worried because I've had these chills for over two weeks now. Anyway, seeing the doctor tomorrow!

Chills and feeling cold is a normal reaction to the band and losing weight. If you have a fever, of course that would indicate that you are ill, but if you're just cold, that is normal. We all get that. You will be cold a lot more and a lot more often now that you'll be losing weight. We're losing all that unsightly "insulation". LOL
