Hi Cajun, and welcome to LBT! I completely understand your concern with "re-routing your plumbing". That is exactly why I chose the lapband as well.

Keep us posted on how things are going.

Hello Cajun!!

I am a transplant from New Orleans!! I have been moved to El Paso Texas and I am going to have my surgery on Tuesday the 16th!! I am so excited about finally having it done!!

I wanted to wish you the best and I know that you will do well.

Hey Cajun. I hear ya on the RnY thing. Seems kinda drastic to me too. I'm only about 5 weeks post-band, but so far it's been both effective and easy, without the weird digestive issues that RnY and DS pts sometimes have.

Hi Cajun and welcome to LBT! Good luck on your journey to Bandland. You have found a good source here for advice and support. Keep us posted on how things are progressing for you!
