Personally I use MyFitnessPal and ended up paying for the premium version.

I use My fitnessPal. It counts all my calories plus I can put in a goal for my calories for the day. It can also let you know how much protein, fat, sodium, cholesterol etc. It keeps track of exercise and water intake. This app definitely keeps me on track. Ive lost 100 lbs so far.

i used My Fitness Pal as well, but the paid version (the paid version allows timestamps and macro details).

i did the paid version during weight loss phase and then went to the free version several months after hitting goal as i felt no longer needed the extra functionalities.

stopped using it all together maybe around year 3 or 4 as i was able to go on autopilot by then.

i'm 7 yrs out.

I really liked Baritastic. It’s been a while since I’ve checked out new apps so maybe something better has come out.

Another vote for MyFitnessPal. A word of warning though is that in the early days, it wouldn't let me end my day if i ate less than 800cals that day. In the beginning, I couldn't eat anywhere near that much. Now, I do about 1200cals a day and it's ok.

I use Baritastic and it is good. Just be sure to log everything everyday. Good luck!
