when did you stop buying plus size clothes?

I had a revision from sleeve to bypass in August of 2024 and since then I've lost over 60 pounds, and I'm still losing, but it is costing me so much money in clothing! I bought a pair of size 16 jeans in late September, by last week (mid-October) I was down to a 14 and the 16s wouldn't stay! There are worse complaints/issues to have, and I know I'm lucky in that the revision is continuing to help me shed weight, but this is getting to be crazy expensive for me - I am beyond broke (super in debt) so any money I have goes to bills or food or housing, even the $25 I spent on those size 14s was a lot for me!
But... I'm curious when everyone stopped going to the "plus size" stores and started shopping in the "straight size" stores? I know that the plus size tends to account for more a curvy figure, and that I still have thighs and a butt I'm thinking I should stay in plus size as long as I can, but when did you decide to try the straight size section of your favorite clothing store?when did you stop buying plus size clothes?
