Surgery we’d I got my water and protein 64 /80 first day . Maybe to fast been totally full uuable to take anything in all day no gas and sick to my stomach all day. How long before first bowel movements

It depends a lot on your pre op diet, everybody has a different one. Also, people react to surgery differently. I had diarrhoea from the moment I woke after surgery. It lasted 2 long days and nights. Even now I only go once or twice a week with the help of some anti constipation meds

It took me about a week or so, but now I take fiber every day and go every other day.
