I'm quite a bit out from you (my surgery should be in November or December, no definite date yet) but I will be having the DS as well. I haven't seen many that are having this done too. Good luck!!

    Hello! I'm waiting on an official surgery date. My surgeon recommended the DS but I was sure I would rather have the Sleeve. After ALOT of research, I'm having the DS. Good luck everyone!

    Welcome to the forums and congrats on your surgery date! I had the Loop DS so a little different from the traditional DS, but I'm grateful that I did it every single day!

    Not sure what a loop ds is ...
    Hi. Sorry! It's a newer version of the DS where they only bypass one part of the intestine. It's also called the SADI-S or SIPS.
