I had not had a period in almost 3 years. My gyno. had said I was in menopause. I had surgery Nov 8 and have had a period every month since. I was told the trauma the surgery causes your body makes the hormones to go crazy.
Mine is scheduled for November 8, so I'll be on puree for Thanksgiving. I am going to make mashed sweet potatoes. Let's Go Stl Blues[emoji170][emoji169]
Hello. I am having DS on November 9th. I have already changed my diet to make an easier transition after surgery. We went to a Chinese buffet tonight and I panicked. I need to do some research on options at different restaurants so I will be better prepared. Any advice? Let's Go Stl Blues[emoji170][emoji169]
I am going crazy waiting to hear my surgery date. I have everything done, just waiting on surgeon to review my file. Let's Go Stl Blues[emoji170][emoji169]
Hello! I'm waiting on an official surgery date. My surgeon recommended the DS but I was sure I would rather have the Sleeve. After ALOT of research, I'm having the DS. Good luck everyone! Let's Go Stl Blues[emoji170][emoji169]
Hello. I'm in Southern Illinois, 47. I am also in the early stages. I have had my initial consult with the surgeon. On July 11 (My b'day) I have an appt with the nutritionist and getting an upper Gi. July 19 I get the psych eval. I had done the liquid pre-op diet a couple days so I know what to expect. I am excited but nervous! Let's Go Stl Blues[emoji170][emoji169]
