When i left hospital they said drink 10 of those little cup of liquids every hour it was hard to try and do ..i go to my post op and told her i can drink 10 in a hr ...she said i was only to do 4 a hr...i was pissed but luckly she said it wouldnt have streched my stomach cause its liquids .....but back on track with the 4 cups

I was always able to drink more than they said I'd be able to. They didn't seem to care. Not sure why your person did, but whatever. And no, it wouldn't have stretched your stomach. Fluids go right through you.

This whole "stretching your stomach" turns out to be a myth, anyway. There's no evidence that it's possible or that the size of the stomach is correlated with weight regain or the amount you can or do eat. I've heard a number of podcasts where they interview researchers and surgeons.

Don't worry too much about stretching your stomach. It's hard to do, it would take a LOT of eating and effort to do it.
