  • 3 weeks they put me on soft food, and I could eat all the foods on the list. Now I'm 6 weeks out, and I can only do oatmeal, and cheeses. I started having problems keeping other things down. I do good

  • I had a sleeve but the post op diet was same for both. I lived on the ricotta bake around that time.

I was on purees then - but plans vary a lot...

I was on purées and soft foods, though I had VSG.

3 weeks they put me on soft food, and I could eat all the foods on the list. Now I'm 6 weeks out, and I can only do oatmeal, and cheeses. I started having problems keeping other things down. I do good with vegetables. Any meat I have problems with. So I can't eat 2 oz if ground turkey, but I can do like 1 spoon of it, and then some soft squash.

I was supposed to be on purees, but it icked me out. I stayed on full fluids until the icks went away.

Edited to add: oopsies, im a sleeve
