Eating Less and Less

I’m 6 weeks out from RNY and I feel like I’m able to eat less and less. I feel like I was able to eat more a few weeks ago does that sound odd? I feel like now I can barely take one bite of food and I get stomach pain and can’t eat again for hours. Is this normal?

Yes, that seems strange to me -- I'd probably reach out to my surgeon! The only thing I could think of is that is it because you are eating food that's more solid? Hope all is OK.

Depends. What were you "eating" weeks ago? Liquids? Puree? I know with me I questioned how I was able to "eat" so much when on liquid and puree stage and how I didn't feel restricted and everyone assured me it was because the foods go right through you, pretty much, in those phases. Not a lot of volume of food. Then of course once I was on soft and then regular foods yeah, I felt my restriction and cannot eat a large amount of food in general either.

I agree with others. It could be because of solid vs liquid and purée but if not I’d run it by your team.
