My surgery is Wednesday. Got my Covid test on Friday. Negative. I don't recall anyone saying to quarantine at all. Even the nurse who called to give me my pre surgery info said, "now someone may say to quarantine, especially after your test and you test negative but, do what you have to do. Meaning, if you need to go out and food shop or something similar, it is what it is, you can just wear a mask."

My surgery is May 19th as well and I just got my covid test. I was told that I didn’t have to quarantine but to follow social distancing guidelines and where a mask where required. I was also told if I had been vaccinated for over 2 weeks I wouldn’t have even had to do a covid test.

Surgery was may 6. Got back in country on May 9. They gave me medical exemption. However........ I am self quarantining BC I think it is the responsible thing to do as I traveled in airports, airplanes (x4) and in another country.

Covid police have called me at home and I fill out daily from Arrive Can app too.

I didn’t even have to get a COVID test. I was surprised but they didn’t require it at my hospital.

I'm Canadian so I had to get a PCR test two days before I left. Then I got another one from my clinic the day before I left from the hospital as I was going back to Canada from Mexico

I’ve had 3 surgeries since August 2020 which was my VSG to RNY revision. For that one I was told to quarantine and only leave the house for work…. I work in a hospital ??‍♀️.

For the other 2 they were emergency surgery I was already in the hospital as a patient when I had what’s called a “rapid Covid” done so no quarantine needed.
