Ghost Protein Powder. Has anyone heard of it? Not sure if it's new or not but recently I've seen some videos from other bariatric patients who were able to get their hands on some. They all swear it tastes so good. They have all sorts of flavors too such as.............

Nutter Butter
chips Ahoy
Peanut Butter Cereal Milk
pancake Batter
banana Pancake Batter
chocolate Cereal Milk
Blue Raspberry
Sonic Cherry Limeade
Original Greens
Sour patch Kids Redberry
Warheads Sour Watermelon
Welch's Grape
Blueberry Acai

That's all I've seen thus far. I looked on Amazon and they are trying to rob people for like $70 a canister. But GNC online has it for like $40. They also have a website and a FB page but I haven't really checked them out yet.

I'm really interested in that Chips Ahoy and Nutter Butter ones. LOL They sound amazing which is why I was wondering if anyone has been able to try them yet.

I've never tried it but I've read people's raves about it. I looked it up once and also noticed it was pretty pricey, so I never ordered any. I'd kinda like to try it, though

Comparing it to other brands and prices I think it's right on target (if you get it on their site). On their site they sell a big 26 serving/2lb canister for $39.99.

In their sample section I pretty much ordered one of each item, but for a few, including some of the Water flavor drink packets. Can't wait to try the Swedish Fish one!!

I got samples online a couple weeks ago, and Nutter Butter was on the TOP of my list to try. :1313_thumbsup_tone4: After having the sample, I knew I wanted more.

I'm now on the 3rd day of pre-op liquids, and yesterday I raced to GNC to pick up a tub of it. It's not too terribly sweet, and tastes peanut-buttery. I mix it with Almond milk. I hope I don't tire of it.

I hope you find something you like.

I'm going to get some of the Premier Protein ones and mix them with the Nutter Butter for banana/peanut butter. Keeping my tastebuds on their toes! 🤡

Got my samples yesterday. Just in time for me to try a few before I went to all Clear Liquids today. I was able to try the Nutter Butter and the chips Ahoy. LOVED both! But what I really liked the most was that they did NOT taste overly sweet. Can't wait or surgery to be over so that I can try the others.

June 17th is almost here. Picked up everything I need for my after surgery needs. After work will go home and finish packing a light overnight bag to make sure I don't forget anything. And the final countdown begins. Not nervous at all just looking forward to the call for my arrival time.

I am 19 days post op and I am still struggling to drink the fluids. I am not even able to drink the protein shakes their now nasty to me , I tried the protein bars & it didn’t end well. I have chest pains & I can barely eat. I am weak & my mouth is always dry, and feeling nauseous. Can anyone provide any advise. At least I doing the vitamins. Recently my chest & stomach have a burning sensation.

I had a very difficult time finding protein shakes that tasted okay and didn't make me sick. I ended up drinking FairLife Core Power protein shakes. I love the chocolate (tastes like chocolate milk to me). I like to blend it with some ice and PB2 powder (or real PB) to give the smoothie consistency. I also found that if I put Panera's Turkey Vegetable soup through the blender, I could eat it. I survived off those two things. My chest pains were from the gas, which was incredibly bad and took so much longer than I expected to resolve. I'd definitely stay away from bars or anything solid until you've conquered liquids. I'd love to tell you the dry mouth will get better soon, but it didn't for me for a very long time (months). The plus to that was that I drank a ton of water. The good new is I suspect you are close to the light at the end of the tunnel on this first and hardest part of the journey. It gets SO much easier after this part.

I am a week post op and I honestly feel like crap! I keep feeling so nauseous and I can’t get my self to drink a good amount of water. I honestly feel very regretful today. When does it get better?

By the third week you will feel some relief. Don't push yourself too much with quantity that first week. I just made sure to keep sipping and walking which helped me feel better.

I honestly haven’t weighed myself since surgery, looking forward to doing it!
