Having Surgery On 12/20/07!

Hi there! I am new to this site. I didn't know anything about it until I stumbled upon it. It is awesome! A real wealth of advice and information.

I am from Texas. I am going to be banded on 12/20. I'm sure I'll have all kinds of questions, so please be patient! Thanks! :eyebrows:

    Hi my name is Liz just started back on the sight I will be banded also on 12/20. Monday I will on the liquid diet at the hospital I attend they say lapband is a journey I started last January on my process.

    I change doctors and have been with Mercy Hospital in Chicago since February. I really need strength to get through this phase. I did really well this summer lost 25 pounds.

    Please can someone help and give some pointers I will be doing the optifast with jello and popsicles please give me more liquids to drink with menu for to take away the hunger pains please help.

    Hi Liz and welcome after the first 2 days you will not feel hungry.I was very worried i would be hungry but was not. Just have faith. you can do this! naomi
