1. Good luck. My surgery is Dec 18th
 2.
I was never overweight until I had my son 20 plus years ago. But since that time I just keep getting heavier and heavier. I have always loved to eat. My husband is great at cooking on the grill and I am a pretty good cook in the kitchen. But lately I have found that I am sick of trying to decide what to eat, when to eat and where to eat. I mostly just eat now because I am hungry or bored. Nothing really satisfies my anymore. I am hoping this surgery (dec 18) will be just what I need. I dont want to be hungry and have to decide where to go and what to eat. If I cant eat a lot then eating should not be a problem, or at least as much as it has been lately.

Maybe my addiction to food is over....

I sure hope yours is also.

Good luck... we all need it

 3. I would love any and all comments, tips, encouragement, support for my surgery. I am 49 (50 Jan 25th). I have a son 26 and a daughter 20. I also have a beautiful grandaughter who is 20 months old. Dr. Demarko is my surgen. I have approx 150 pounds to lose. My daughter is getting married April 26th and I am hoping to lose as much as I can until then. I know it wont come off at once and I dont expect it to. I just want to be able to keep up with my grandaughter and have a happy, healthy life with my family. My husband and family are very supportive. Especially my sisters and my mom. It would just be nice to gain some new friends here that are going thru what I am. Thanks for reading.... :girl_hug:
 4. Thanks, I am going to do my best to do exactly as my dr says to get the most out of this process. I really cant wait... I am SO excited!
