Okay Men...need some advice
No offense, but that kind of sounds like "reverse" sexism, the remark about the breast size and rear. I have found that a lot of guys look first at ladies' eyes, and you have beautiful eyes!!! Not to sound weird or forward, but you are very attractive, and any guy should be attracted to you. For real.

Gettin' Looks?
Okay, fellas, this is probably gonna sound like a dumb thread, but here goes anyway. Now that a lot of us guys have lost some weight, are any of the rest of you getting looks your way that you didn't when you weighed more, or getting comments to you about looking nice after losing weight? I'm married, and there's only one woman for me of course, but it's kind of nice.

is it natural to....
Way to go, RAS. You're on your way now. I found that after I had my surgery a lot of the things that the guys in here talked about made a lot more sense. Like getting things "stuck" and not being able to eat but just a tiny bit of food at a time. Good luck, man.

Just back from the surgery
Hey, way to go, man. Yeah, your pee will "clear up" in a few days. And as far as the liquid diet--enjoy it now. Man, before my 1st fill I wanted to eat a whole cow. But I remember the liquids right after my surgery. This is when the weight will really drop off. Good luck, bro.

pre-op sore throat - will they cancel me?
How funny. My surgery is on 12/20 and I have a sore throat now too. I went straight to my PCP and he found that I have an ear infection and a sinus infection. He put me on antibiotics. My pre-op appt with the surgeon's office is this Thusday. I hope things turn out okay.

To Eat Or Not To Eat...
Hi everyone! I wanted to clear up some stuff before I have my surgery. I have heard so many different remarks about what you can eat and not eat after the surgery. So here's a list of things I'm confused about. Let's hear what you have been told by your doctors. Bread Gum Carbonated beverages Caffeine Pasta Rice And any other things that are remarkable. Thanks a bunch!

In A Predicament!
Thanks for all of your responses. I especially like the hernia idea. And the saying I had surgery but don't want to talk about it. I appreciate all of your input. Thanks!

In A Predicament!
:help: Hi there! I am scheduled for surgery on Dec. 20. I just found out that we are moving about a week or two later. I have made it public knowledge that I am having this surgery, and I don't think I plan to. Do you all think I'll be able to lift stuff by then, and if not, I wonder what I say to people who come and help us move? What a predicament! :omg:

post-op return to work
Hey there. I am having surgery on Thursday, 12/20 and hope to go back to work on Wed., 12/26. This will mean I'll actually only have to take 2 vacation days for it. Is this realistic? I have an office job where I sit and type all day long--data entry type work.
