Sleeved Momma

Hello there! I’m a 36 year old mom of 3. I have always been on the high end of a healthy BMI but after the birth of my first child my weight just kept creeping up. I am 5’8 and at my wedding I was 168lbs now 7 years later I was staring at 270lbs. I decided enough was enough and I contacted a bariatric clinic. Everything moved very quickly (self pay) and a month later I was sleeved.
I am only a week post op, so looking for advice and support. :)

welcome to the forum @Shanto. You have just spent your money wisely !!! This is the best tool you could have. as long as you follow your surgeon and nutritionalist instructions to a T you will do great. I don't know if you have a ongoing nutritionalist or not since you are self pay just stay on this forum ask any questions ,read other people questions and responses . drinking water, water, water is the most important thing you do right now and of course walk a lot to get rid of the gas . stick with us and you will do just fine. Again Welcome and feel free to message people and ask questions.... just remember everyone's journey is different and do not judge your progress by anyone else's.....

Thank you!! Right now I have been experiencing diarrhea for the last day or so. I’ve been following the post op diet so I’m not sure what’s causing it.
