You just hang in the Dulcolax worked for me, I took 2 am and 2 pm and drank lots of water. I have also added 100 cal package of almonds. Up until now, you've had either soft foods or liquids. They just don't make a lot of volume. I have this issue still at 6 months. Once a month I need some help.

Try senna or milk of magnesia.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - prunes, prunes and more prunes! ??

Ask your surgeon what's the strongest one you can take. Don't try to be a hero ?

I went a week after surgery before I had a BM. I too Colace, actually generic Docusate sodium. Took two pills in AM and two pills in PM. That worked for me. Now I take one pill in PM to keeps things moving.
