October Surgery Roll Call

  • Popular Post

Hi fellow October folks - Thought it would be fun to do a roll call and to see our surgery months/twins. I extrapolated as much as I could from our Surgery Thread but if I missed anything....feel free to cut and paste and repost and add your date. Good luck to us all!

10/28 here as well ??? Congrats !!!

I had surgery Monday and stayed overnight at the hospital my husband stayed with me. The gas pain was unreal! The worst thing ever for me. Walking , walking and walking is all that can be done. I’m back home and walking. Sleeping flat is not great. Thank goodness for my adjustable bed sitting up is best for me. This bowl has been great for measuring broth.

Everyone talks of the gas pain....did anyone have gallbladder surgery before their WLS? Is it worse than that pain? I was ok after the gallbladder.

Yes, I had my gallbladder removed in 2015. Gas pain was horrible for me.

Oct. 24 RNY for me.

I just started the pre-op diet 2 days ago and boy am I feeling cranky (already) !!!

Had my RNY yesterday morning and it went great. No pain except some gas pain which I'm trying to walk off. I will be so happy when they let me have something to drink in the morning. Nothing for the first day. (It's 1:30am) I can't sleep.
