Yes please call your doctor. My doctor prescribed nausea pills for me and they really helped me control the nausea.

I doubt throwing up will damage your pouch, but why are you throwing up? How far post-op are you? Is it nausea? Food? Foamies?

I think most people throw up a lot after surgery and that doesn't seem to damage their pouches. I hope your doctor figures everything out!

No there was no damage to my pouch. And I'm almost 6 weeks out and food is going down well. I havent had any more throwing up spells.

I’m pretty sure it’s food! It can happen when I eat very slowly and with foods that I’ve had no probs with. However, it’s always after eating! I just don’t know what could be causing it!

Yeah! I called today. They told me they think my bites are too big and want me to use a baby spoon. If that doesn’t work I will go in!

Yeah, I have been told once I start food I have to have half a teaspoon and chew 20 times, then wait to a count of 20 then have the next half a teaspoon mouthful and so on because of vomiting and giving the pouch time to move out the first mouthful. I know we all get told slightly different things though. Hope it is an easy fix
