It will be fine and the reward is worth it. The tough part is a month after adjusting to the new way of eating. Good luck!

Good luck on your WLS journey

I had mine a month ago, and I haven't had any complications so far, I was super anxious and shaking before the surgery, but found out it was all in my head and non of my concerns actually happened after surgery. you will just have some tolerable pain during the first week and it will start getting better gradually, I have zero regrets so far, and you woudn't too hopefully ❤️

My nerves didn't set off until we were in the car. On our way, I told my husband, "If we hit traffic for any reason, we are going out to a nice breakfast instead ". It was smooth sailing the whole way. Then in the elevator in the parking garage, the back wall was glass, looking out over a court yard. There was a huge flag flying the said, "Let's get Healthy together." I almost cried. I was searching for a negative sign all morning and the universe threw a positive sign at me.

Nerve are normal, I'd be more afraid if a person didnt get a little nervous before a surgery.

Relax, take a deep breath and remind yourself why you are doing this. And. Let's get healthy together. ?

The best of luck, and health.

You got this!!

I'm having my surgery on Monday, 7/22 as well! Good luck to you! I'm ready to go-go-goooooo!!!

We can do this! Failure is not an option!

I am one year out this month. No regrets. Normal to feel nervous. Try to focus on all the reasons you have chosen to do this and what your goals are! You got this!! Let us know when you can how everything went!
