Hope everyone that had surgeries is doing well!

Surgery was yesterday. Had a really rough night with vomiting, but today is going better. Can't wait to move this gas bubble out though

How are you feeling?

I’m doing great. Thanks for asking. I had a lot of pain when I first woke up. But he morphine drip eventually calmed it. That was around 4 pm. By midnight I was no longer pushing the bottom for morphine. Now I’m just resting comfortably. I am getting an odd gas’s pain in my shoulder and upper back that comes and goes. That pain is worse than the surgery pain. But even then it eventually subsides. I was able to drink water well. I drank my liquid protein but I couldn’t stomach the jello.

Overall I’m happy. Not too much pain and so glad it’s over.

Hi does anyone have a Jan 2020 sleeve?

I feel no hunger, but I am thirsty

Being kept over an extra night because the gas isn't moving at all and causing lots of pain.

Had my surgery the 17th. Had issues and had to stay an extra few days. The gas pains are nearly unbearable l

I was in from Monday to Friday. I agree the gas pains are terrible and I gained 15 pounds of fluid. I looked like I was 7 months pregnant with all the gas and fluid, ugh! Glad you are on the road to recovery!

My surgery is in 2 days. Nervous but excited.
I wish you luck. I had my surgery 9/17/19 @ 8am and was home by 9/18/19 @230pm. I didn't have any troubles with any pain. I'm getting down about 80 ounces of water a day and my three protein shakes. I usually eat 1/4 a cup of cottage cheese to but that fills me up. Feels like a Thanksgiving dinner full! I have only used children's Tylenol for the pain. I have not even used that for two days now. I was up and out of my bed about three hours after my surgery passing gas. We went for about 12 walks the day I was there. It helps with gas pain a lot! They also gave me chewable gas x which I keep on me now but have not had to use it beside the day I got out of the hospital. I was exhausted because I could not sleep in the hospital at all. Lol. Good luck!
