Hello. If my test for sleep acme comes back positive Can the doctor send my paperwork in for approval. My BMI is 36.7 I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. My insurance wants 6 nutritional visits. I have done 3.

most likely not. your insurance will be the one to decide though.

The insurance company sets the requirements which the surgeon adheres to. But you can always check with your insurance company.

They are pretty strict

Doesn't most insurance require 2 comorbidities if your BMI is under 40? Each insurance company has different rules. You should check.

Sleep apnea ;)....I was picturing the road runner when you said sleep acme! Sounds like high BP and high cholesterol are your two commodities anyway.
