  1. Oct 30 Here...RNY 219 on surgery day, 177.6 this morning. In a small stall the past week and a half which hopefully will break soon. So 42 lost since surgery, 15 before surgery on liquids for a total of 57 lbs. about 30 more to goal..
  2. A suggestion that has really helped me, I purchased a clear protein (isopure) and I add it to my water bottle and sip sip sip all day long, that way I get both my fluids and an additional 20 grams of protein just by drinking. It’s really helped me hit at least 60 grams of protein.
  3. I hate protein shakes and couldn’t deal anymore, I have started having chike protein coffee mixed with high protein milk and Im one week post op. I figure the benefit outweighs the harm because I start my day with nearly 20 grams of protein easily.
  4. Dude, I ate one bite of mushy tuna salad (one week post op today) and the feeling in my chest immediately said “slow down, chew more”...OP is a troll
  5. Curious to see how long others who went through bariatrics at their MTF have waited, specifically through BAMC. I turned in my checklist last week but have heard conflicting accounts of how long the waitlist truly is. Some folks say they waited only a month, and some say up to 6 months. Anyone recently have surgery through BAMC Bariatrics?? How long was your wait? (oh and If you can tell me how to join the private facebook group that would be awesome too)
  6. Sleep apnea ;)....I was picturing the road runner when you said sleep acme! Sounds like high BP and high cholesterol are your two commodities anyway.
