Hello. I am so overwhelmed. I had surgery 10/22. I have a few questions. What are you looking for when looking at the food labels on food? How many calories should you have with each meal?

I am going crazy. I had my surgery 10/22. I feel no different. I have no trouble drinking, getting my protein in anything. Is there something wrong with me? I have been having my soups clear liquids. Am I doing something wrong? Can I have pudding at this stage? I am so confused and overwhelmed.

OMG I just received a phone call from my drs office and they need to reschedule to October 22 because the dr is sick. My surgery was suppose to be tomorrow

I did my test at home.

My sleep test came back positive I just got off the phone with the doctor the question I have is should I call my surgeon to let him know that I have this or will they get a copy of the report.

If they didn’t change my height my BMI would be 35.8. But since they corrected my height my BMI is 36.8. My doctor said that the high cholesterol could be used on top of the high blood pressure plus I’m getting tested for sleep apnea.

Hello. I have 2 more months of my nutrition to send my paperwork to insurance. I am a mess. I want to buy stuff for the surgery and after but say if I get denied I would be heartbroken. Last week I had to call my surgeon and tell them that they had my wrong height by an inch so I had to go into the office and get rechecked then I called my primary doctor because they had it wrong and I had to go in there and get rechecked and sure enough they all had me taller by an inch so that changed my BMI but now that they corrected it my BMI is above 35 and I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol but say if the insurance company denies me because of that. I am a nervous wreck. I I don’t have the money to pay out of pocket so I need for insurance to cover this.

Hello. If my test for sleep acme comes back positive Can the doctor send my paperwork in for approval. My BMI is 36.7 I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. My insurance wants 6 nutritional visits. I have done 3.

I meet all the criteria’s. Bmi above 35 with high blood pressure. The dr said I should have no problem but I have been reading stories and getting nervous.

Hi. I’m 5’4 210 pounds. I have bcbs of ri. I had my psyc visit. I have done 4 of the 6 nutritional visits. I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I am a worrier and saying to myself is there any reason for my insurance will deny me. So nervous. I hate waiting another 2 months to see if they approve or deny me.

Hi my name is Colleen I started this journey two months ago I’ve had my two nutritional visits I had my psych evaluation which I just passed yesterday and now I have four more visits with the nutritionist I have a meeting with my surgeon tomorrow and I was just wondering if anyone can give me what to expect out of that meeting. Also for the approval for the surgery do they wait until all six nutritional visits are done and then submit it to insurance or do they do it before hand ? My BMI is 36 and I have high blood pressure high cholesterol and I have to go for the sleep apnea test the end of the month.
