I'm thinking about getting a piece of jewelry to commemorate the surgery and remind myself what it took to get there and sentimentality of it all. Anyone do that?

I've been buying myself jewelry at specific intervals along the way (50#/75#/60% EWL loss, etc) - mostly not expensive, but I have my eyes on something really nice for 100# down.

That sounds like a good idea. I haven't decided what my "reward" is going to be when I reach goal weight.

Honestly I’m thinking about getting a tattoo.
Still haven’t figured out what it will say, but something that will make me remember this journey and how important it is to stay on track for life

My suggestion: a bird tattoo, a Phoenix , rising from the ashes of the past. When Life tried to declaw you, they forgot About your wings and now you can fly, swift and strong into your future!

One of my goals is to run a marathon and get a tattoo that symbolizes both my weight loss and finishing a marathon. I want a Ariel tattoo in human form wearing running clothes with a race bid with the number of pounds I’ve lost.

I wish tough mudder was a little further away to have more time to heal because I would love to do that one.

I have the same idea. I want something on my inner arm post-arm lift to cover some of the scar and it'll be weight loss related somehow. Not sure exactly what yet, though.
