Overcoming Dichotomous Thinking

Article from Medium that I found *interesting*

I feel like sometimes the all or nothing approach is what you see in the WLS community as well as in other aspects of life.

Not certain where my alliances fall yet. What does everyone think?

"We’re wired to crave order" I saw this phrase and got totally stymied. Ummm, no. Some of us actually like chaos. It's our home planet and we're happy there.

  • That's a good article. I'm definitely a dichotomous thinker at times, especially when it comes to my weight. All or nothing attitudes just don't work. I have to work on this. Thanks for sharing.

Conquering black-and-white-thinking was one of the most useful things in life I ever did. It affects everything in your life.

That was a really excellent article, thanks for sharing. ?

This issue really is something everyone will struggle with, to some extent, off or on their whole life. It is a good reminder to "get out of your own head" a bit!
