Well i got up and took my shower with the soap they gave me and my wife and i was at st.francis hospital at 5:30 am!! We went to the 3rd floor to check in and the lady could not find my name on the list so she checked in the surgeons file and found where my surgery had been cancelled because my live enzymes were very high

So now i have to go to another GI doctor and get clearance then reschedule im so disappointed i just want to die!!!!!!

That would be disappointing. Did you follow the prepop diet that the DR gave you?

Yes i did. 2 weeks before my surgery i had to go do an ekg and bloodwork for antithesia and they caught it there but yea im devastated,crushed and very heartbroken!!

Man, that sucks. I'm sorry. Hope the clearance comes through quickly. My first surgery date was canceled when I was 1/2 way through the pre-diet because they wanted some more heart tests done. It is so disappointing when you've got your mind/spirit all geared up. Morning-of really bites.

That is SO frustrating and upsetting! You are so close, and you can do this! I promise. It's a minor set back, the universe telling you that it's not the exact time. You're still on the road there, just a slight detour. Some traffic. You got this, and when you get your clearance you're gonna ROCK it!

By any chance are you in Virginia? I know it's unlikely, but we have a St. Francis bariatric hospital here.

Yes i did this was something they didnt catch when they did my bloodwork for anesthesia

And this too shall pass. You will get through this with the determination you used to stick to the pre-op diet!!

Sorry, I know in the beginning you were having trouble staying on your pre op diet. I didn’t know if that had something to do with it
