I Hate Food Sometimes!

Ugh. It’s been a several months since I had the local Chinese food and gotten sick, so my brain must’ve forgotten how sick I got last time because I got some tonight for supper.

ugh. It made me so sick. Why am I such an idiot? Ugh! Dummy!

Dear future me,

Should you think Chinese food sounds good...you’re wrong. You’ll end up puking, taking your Zofran, and laying in the tub while hot water rains down on you until your stomach feels calm enough to lay in bed without wanting to dry heave. This feels terrible, you do not want to feel like this again. Don’t do it, rather don’t EAT it.

With Love,

Me

Blahhhh!

I’m laying in bed, all has pretty much passed, I feel better. I’m sure it was all the carbs and sugar! I just needed to share how much of a dummy I was!

  • I did OK with steamed dumplings. Got brave and tried fried rice. 1/4 cup yeah that's a no

Feel better!!!

That doesnt sound good? Was it a particular food that caused the issue? I know a lot of chinese food is full of sugar. Maybe something like Thai or Vietnamese would be easier to tolerate. They seem to be lighter and fresher.

Silly question was it a small portion.

I think I'm just nervous whats about to happen after surgery. I know everyones different and will have different reactions. I think I'm nervous about slipping up and I'm sure I will and hope not to do it again, its all a learning curve.

It is scary. Waiting on sleeve surgery here. Friend that had just acts like surgery no big deal. I disagree,it’s a huge step.

What surgery did you have?

What stage are you at?

What is on your plan that your Dr gave you?

Then there is weighing up the can against the should. Sometimes just because you can do something doesnt mean you should. Is pizza a trigger food for you. Will eating it be the start of falling back into bad habits.

You may want to consider making a pizza without a base ( just use the cheese and the toppings) or there are lots of recipes online for pizza made with a cauliflower base that are healthier than the regular kind

9 weeks out and can't handle Chinese plus most meats. Makes me very angry because I used to love those foods.

Me aldo, hope my,prospective stoma s tretching makes me a brand new woman!
